The Cottonfield Scarecrowes is a Malaysian indie folk band formed in 2013. The band consists of Johann Sultan and Shahrhyl Sultan. A senior art director by profession, Johann took up the role as principal songwriter, both singing and playing the acoustic guitar while Shahrhyl a project coordinator with IBM plays the lead guitar.
